Zhang Xiaojun, Vice Chairman of Changzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, Visits Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe Workers During Heatwave

On the morning of July 16th, Changzhou experienced a sustained period of high temperatures, with a heatwave sweeping the city and posing significant challenges to frontline workers. To convey the deep care of the trade union organization and ensure the physical and mental health of its workers, Zhang Xiaojun, Vice Chairman of the Changzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, accompanied by Zhao Yuanyu, Chairman of the Tianning District Federation of Trade Unions, visited Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe to express their care and concern for frontline workers battling the heat, delivering heatstroke prevention materials and sincere greetings. Zhou Zhibin, Vice General Manager and Chairman of the Trade Union of Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe; Lu Xunwei, Production Manager; and Chen Liang, Assistant General Manager, warmly received them.

At the visit, Vice Chairman Zhang Xiaojun, on behalf of the Changzhou Municipal Federation of Trade Unions, presented frontline workers with mineral water, heatstroke prevention medication, towels, and other cooling supplies. These thoughtful gifts brought a refreshing coolness to the workers in the sweltering heat. The workers who received the care expressed that the concern shown by the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and the company made them feel warm and cared for. Despite the unbearable heat, this care filled them with energy, and they pledged to continue to stay at their posts, overcome difficulties, and contribute to the company's development with even greater enthusiasm.

Zhou Zhibin, Vice General Manager of Wujin Stainless Steel Pipe, expressed his sincere gratitude for the visit from the Municipal Federation of Trade Unions and promised that the company would strictly implement heatstroke prevention requirements, make every effort to improve the working environment for its employees, scientifically adjust working hours, ensure the safe and orderly progress of production and operations, and truly put the care for its employees into practice.
